Projekt:

Revealing the effects of elasticity on single cavitation bubble dynamics and the resulting stress and strain fields

Saber earned his B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (2014) and his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (2017). In 2020, he joined the soft matter group at the Institute of Physics, OVGU, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. and working as an early-stage researcher on the UCOM project.  His current research involves high frame rate ultrasound imaging of cavitation bubbles and investigating shear waves and strain fields induced by non-spherical bubble dynamics interacting with soft matter.

Recently, he hosted two high school students who completed their one-week internship at the Soft Matter Group. The main goal of the internship was to familiarize the students with experimental work related to ultrasound and its applications in biomedical engineering. To this end, he designed experiments and supervised students in activities such as implementing high frame rate ultrasound imaging using a research ultrasound system (Vantage 64LE; Verasonics), generating and detecting shear waves in a tissue mimicking material using compounded ultrasound plane wave imaging, and processing the ultrasound images to measure shear wave velocity in the sample.
